Wednesday

So it is wednesday and I have been sitting in my room for a while pretty much doing nothing. I love getting out at 1 so i can finish my homework while everyone is still in class. Today there was a dramatic drop in the temperature and I am not sure if it makes me excited for the fall and winter or scared. Right now i am looking forward to wearing sweats and boots and drinking hot chocolate but maybe i will feel differently when winter actually comes.

There is some exciting news that i got a job!!! I cant believe it i never thought it would be so easy. My first day of work is on sunday so I am a little but nervous since I have never worked anywhere besides the pool. I only hope that I wont have to clean up peoples dirty dishes. Now i only need to find some pants to wear.

I also joined an intramural kickball team!! I am not the greatest at kickball and I only know one other person on the team but I am still pretty excited to get involved and everything. Although I am debating if i should go to the sailing meeting tonight. I kind of want to go just to see what kind of commitment it is, but on the other hand i also wanted to go to our dorms allstar challenge tonight so who knows what i will do?

On yet another note, I had a salad for lunch today!! I would consider that an improvement over my usual eating and now i am not going to eat pizza or fries for dinner!! SHOCKER!

Well i guess that is all for now. i wish i was a good blogger and i could make it interesting and not all over the place but luckily i only have one dutiful reader. (I know who you are!) Well thats all for now.

Hasta La Vista

LIFE

So life has just been moving along so fast. My birthday weekend fly by in the blink of an eye. It was my first birthday being away from home but i was lucky to have people who cared. Both my roommates were really nice and decorated my room and gave me a gift! It was so thoughtful and i wasn't expecting it at all. My Friends from down the hall started off by being mean to me and ignoring my texts and not eating with me, until they called me into their room for a birthday surprise!! It was so nice i have never been surprised like that before and they even made me a cake.

Later we went to the brewers game which was a lot of fun. Sunday was also great because my family came out to visit me! We had a nice day except for it was so hard to say goodbye. I wasn't expecting that. I am happy here and everything but it is still hard being away from home. Well i have been doing a lot of homework but luckily i get done with class early so i can finish it when everyone else is still in class.

I have been getting so tired of dining hall food though. I usually rotate between having pizza one day and a burger the next. SO HEALTHY! Some other dorms have good food on occasion so i am definitely going to try and mix up my food a lot more. But on the other hand i haven't had ice cream in a week!!! Well i have to jet to class so thats all for now!!

moving on

college!

so my time to move into college has finally come! and gone because i have been here for a little over a week. It has been a lot of fun and i have been super busy doing orientation activities and starting classes. Although it has been fun it has also been pretty hard being away from my family and friends and getting used to a new home and new routine. I miss my dogs a lot too. But i just hope that I will eventually get used to all of this and this new lifestyle. Okay well thats all for now!

Last night on the town.

So k-dawg wanted me to blog about our "date" hahaa so here it goes. First we went to the movies planning on seeing friends with benefits but apparently k-dawg did not do her research properly because there was an awkward moment when we asked for tickets and they said "uhhh we dont have the movie anymore"...so awk! So we were forced into seeing one day...definitely NOT a comedy. Since the moment she was hit by the mailtruck we could not stop crying...sooo depressing. Overall a decent movie but i only like movies with happy endings so this one is off my list. Anyways at least k-dawg made it a decent night. ALthough when i got home my mailbox was knocked over! WTF! When i walked into my house i was afarid that the mailbox knocker would come and knock me over so i had to run into the house...SCARY!

another day! another dollar!

My day was definitely looking up today, i only sat around watching scrubs for some of the day. On top of that i really advanced in my game of angry birds (what an exciting life i lead). I went out running errands which was a great excuse to get out of the house. I also finished up most of my college shopping by buying a bunch of stuff and these really cool soft ball pillows (HAHA). I also had a great new purchase of sunglasses which i love!!! and i cannot wait to use them tomorrow. By the way tomorrow I will actually have something to do (work, yay!) and the blue green meet. Well I am off to the movies now!!

Why is my life so exciting?

So today has been a very lazy day to say the least. I have spent most of the day watching scrubs and playing angry birds and that can only entertain me for so long! So now I am bored out of my mind and just waiting to go bowling with my few friends that are still left in town. I keep seeing everyone posting stuff about college on face-book and it is making me mad that i still have to wait until wednesday until i can leave. At least jersey shore is on tonight. Well ta ta for now!

Here I am.

So since all of my friends left me here I am all alone with nothing to do. I decided to make this blog. ha. I dont really know what I am doing on here. This is weird.
